A Gift From Great Grandma...

Hmmm...go figure.

Our Gingerbread House

These two had more fun with this gingerbread house! Garett asked if he could decorate it however he wanted, and I agreed. I must admit, it turned out quite nicely! As you can see, each candy was strategically placed. (And, yes, Libertys shirt is on backwards and inside out! She had to do it HERSELF! )

And, here it is! Complete with icesicles and 4 chimneys...for Santa!

Liberty

Friday, December 19th was Liberty's Birthday. It's hard to believe my sweet little girl is TWO!! It has gone by so quickly! Liberty is such a precious little one. She has the sweetest little personality... so tender, yet sassy, but still so easy going and happy all the time! She is such a blessing to our family. Her presence seems to brighten every moment.

She loves to help Mommy. You can ask her to do something and she just looks up and smiles and says "ok, mommy." And of she goes to do it. What two year old does that??? And, could she get any cuter??? I may be partial, but I have to say that this little angel has got to be absolutely the most gorgeous little thing I've ever seen!

We sure love our little "Yiberty." Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!!!

O Christmas Tree

One of our favorite activities this time of year is choosing our tree.
There's just something exciting and special about searching out the perfect tree.
Then comes the decorating, which Garett begged and begged for. Garett says "these ones are Snuggin."

Christmas Cookies

Garett & Liberty love to help Mommy make cookies, so Christmas baking is so fun for them! The "beaters" are always their favorite part!!! Even Daddy gets in on the fun!

Trick or Treat!

Halloween is always a family favorite at our house. We started out with carving pumpkins... very fun! Yum!Yum!

That evening we went to the ward "trunk or treat". Garett and David both won prizes in the pumpkin carving contest. Garetts' was the "cutest" and Davids' was "Scariest" and "best over all."
David is always the life of the party... Isn't he awesome????

Afterwards, we went Trick or Treating. Garett was Batman and Liberty was a the cutest little fairy. They love trick or treating.

When we get home we dump out our buckets and check out the candy! Candy! Candy!
