When David and I were dating I talked him into doing some pictures with me. Who would have ever guessed it would have carried on this far. I have them displayed on my kitchen wall.

When Garett was 18 months old I did some of him. (There are more in the slide show)

Now, it's Liberty's turn.
As soon as I finish Liberty's hand tinting, I'll post the final wall design, but here are some of my favorites.

Ridin' the "Gocker"

Look what Garett taught me!!!!

Garett has always called any and all motorcycles "gockers." It's hilarious! Last night he decided that Liberty should go for a ride with him.

He begged and begged until we finally gave in...ONLY if he stayed on the grass. He quickly loaded her up and away they went. She LOVED it!! It was so cute. I am so glad they are friends!

Family Home Evening at the Lake

"Mon-gabah"

Pronounced mahn-gahbah. Liberty came into the office today and said mon-gabah... and she said it several times. Now, I really believe that when a baby says the same exact thing over, and over that it becomes more than babble and she is trying to tell me something. "So... what could this possible mean? " I asked her what? a few times so she would say it again, then I, being a mom, started to figure it out by replaying her morning schedules. Knowing the first thing she usually wants to do in the morning is eat, I said "are you hungry?" and she responded "yea, mon-gabah." So, I repeated her, just to be sure- "mongabah?" And she answered "yea." She turned around and headed for the kitchen. So, for future reference, mongabah means I'm hungry! I love baby words! We tend to keep the best ones and use them in our daily vocabulary in our family!

Best Friends

Garett & Liberty love each other so much! They are so cute playing together! I love it when I hear them playing and laughing!

July 4th at Pismo

We drove over to Pismo Beach for the 4th of July. We love the beach and had a great time! They had a fireworks show off the Pismo pier- over the ocean... very cool! Garett calls fireworks "firecracks" and last year decided that fireworks stands were called "crack-houses." That name has held over for another year, and probably many years to come!
Garett loved the seagulls, too.

Batman and Bathing Beauty

Garett & Liberty love the water. Here's a couple cute pics we got at some fun pool parties with friends. I dont know if you knew, or cared, but Batman swims!

Girls Weekend!!!

As some of you know, two of my girlfriends came to visit me from Utah. It was so fun! I haven't seen them for many years, and have known them for a very long time, so it was a much anticipated reunion. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful husband who was more than happy to watch the kids all weekend, so I could go play with my friends. We spent the weekend shoppping & enjoying fine dining in Long beach and L.A. and we got to stay on the Queen Mary! (I'm not sure, but I have heard it's haunted! lol) It was great! We had an awesome time! I wish I had taken more pictures!!! Thanks Mich, and Gwen, for coming to play in Cali with me! AND thank you my dear sweet David, for making it possible for me to go!

Daddy's Birthday!

David's birthday was last week. Garett loved putting the candles on his cake...

And blowing them out. Both kids loved it so much that we had to relight them, and do it several times!

A Day at the Park

We all love going to the park!
Garett loves playing baseball and is getting pretty good! He has never used a tee, but does really well when the ball is pitched to him! He also has a great throwing arm! He's awesome! I love the tongue in the 2nd picture!

Liberty has just started liking slides! She laughs so hard! I love it!

Camping "in the twees"

Garett has developed a great love for the outdoors and loves camping. His favorite thing is roasting "moormayows." He really liked sleeping in the tent this time, too. I wish I had gotten more pictures! I'm sure there will lots more camping this year!

Jumpin' Fun!

Daddy and Garett were jumping on the trampoline today when Daddy decided he would do a flip over Garett's head.

Goin' Boatin'!!

We went boating this past weekend! Garett loves the tube, now! Look at his big smile in the first picture!! I love it!


























Liberty is our little beach girl! She liked playing in the sand. I'm definitely raising California babies! (And to be honest, I think I've turned into a California girl myself!)
